Through her business and Hollywood-based store, French General, Kaari Meng creates and sells home décor accessories, natural laundry products, and vintage beading kits, along with turn-of-the-twentieth-century textiles, interior design consulting, and period decorating. Meng’s products are available in stores throughout the United States, Japan, Singapore, and Europe. She has sold her vintage glass jewelry designs through Anthropologie, Sundance Catalog, and Peruvian Connection. French General has been featured in Mary Englebreit’s Home Companion and Martha Stewart Living. In 2005, Meng served as creative consultant and artist in residence for Hallmark Cards.
